Based in York and right in the middle of Yorkshire and the Humber we are never far away from our clients. We love to working regionally, helping our businesses to flourish and so support the growth of our local economy. We know that we can make a difference to you by helping you to create a great place to work where you have the most engaged people, are attracting the best talent and have a super-skilled workforce who are doing great work. Working together we can make a real difference to our region. For that reason, we are always looking at opportunities to lead on regional initiatives to help local businesses.

What is ‘Engage for Success Yorkshire and the Humber’?

Engage for Success is a growing, dynamic, voluntary movement promoting employee engagement as a better way to work that benefits individual employees, teams and whole organisations. Commissioned by the Government, Engage for Success is now a well-established movement.

Pro-Development has been actively involved with Engage for Success for several years and has represented the SME sector at their regional and national events ensuring our regional voice is heard. We are very proud that Michelle Mook, our Managing Director, is the Area Network Ambassador for the Yorkshire and Humber region and is the founder of the Yorkshire and the Humber Engage for Success Network to promote the great work happening to support our region.

What does Engage for Success Yorkshire and Humber Area Network do?

We meet four times a year and are supported by volunteers who are passionate about engagement and sharing the ideas of Yorkshire and the Humber’s engagement leaders. With the key aim of boosting productivity and helping to make our region known as a great place for people to work, our topics are decided by those who attend, so our programme will evolve as the year progresses. Through our network, both online and at our events, we:

• Provide you with opportunities to network with likeminded people, learn from experts and those who lead in engagement both online and in person
• Share best practice, practical tools and ideas that you can take with you back into the workplace
• Give you time to reflect on what inspires you to improve employee engagement in your workplace

We are keen to find people in our region who are leading on engagement work within their organisation and would love to hear from anyone who feels they would have something to contribute.

Who can get involved?

Any business in the region no matter how big or small – your voice counts. If you are keen to understand more about the benefits of good employee engagement or want to contribute and be part of an inspiring group of leaders who are looking at how to improve the performance of the region, then we would love to hear from you.

We have opportunities  for you and your organisation to be instrumental in supporting engagement in our region, helping the network flourish and grow.

• Sponsor – We are keen to find organisations who would be willing to work with us and sponsor our events. This is a great opportunity for someone who feels they are contributing to the success of engagement already and are keen to highlight how they are leading the way.
• Speaker – You can raise your profile within our region by speaking at some of our events. We consider speakers from SMEs to global brands, public and voluntary sectors who have taken a lead in engagement and can share  innovative examples that others can learn from.
