Here we are in March with Spring just around the corner and we’ve been getting ready to send out seeds to those who want to take part in our Great Giant Sunflower Grow-Off 2023 and also talking about what we are sowing in our gardens at the moment.

Earlier in February we have been encouraged to ‘fall in LOVE with ourselves’, which is so valuable and important to do, Helen gave us some simple practical tips and reminders for us to do just that! Continuing professional development can be a mixed blessing. I recently found myself standing in an icy field directly behind a mildly flatulent horse trying to convince it to move in a direction of my choice using only the power of my voice. I am pleased to report I had some success and survived the whole incident mostly unscathed.

It’s that time of year again dark nights frosty mornings and rain and more rain! It can sometimes be a struggle to stay motivated and positive and not give into our inner squirrel and hibernate until spring! Holidaying abroad seems a long way off at the moment with the dark nights and cold mornings, but its nice to look forward to something as we move into the new year. Me and my families default destination is Florida where the sun always shines, the food is plenty (too much at times) and the theme park rides fast, not to mention meeting a certain Mr. M Mouse along the way.
