Sue O’Boyle

Learning and Development Consultant

“Only dead fish go with the flow.” This has been Sue’s ethos since a client sent her this message on a thank you card; that also noted “thank you for getting me out of the flow!”
She has been working in the field of management development, coaching and team-based leadership for over 25 years and strongly believes that everyone can enjoy a successful career if they are energised at work.

Sue has had a wide-ranging career, having started work internationally to design and deliver graduate and management development programmes for a large manufacturing organisation before joining a consulting company specialising in the use of psychometric profile tools with leaders and their teams. Sue then ran her own consultancy business offering leadership and team coaching before joining Leeds Beckett University as their internal Leadership and Learning Manager for many years.

Throughout her career, Sue has enjoyed working in close partnership with colleagues and clients to help them achieve their strategic ambitions, create the right environment in which they and their teams can thrive and acquire the skills and behaviours they need to succeed in their daily roles and career aspirations.

Sue enjoys being in the great outdoors with colleagues, clients, family and friends, whenever possible, and especially loves the company of her horse and dogs too.
