The personal impact this team DiSC day had on myself is that it is helpful reflection on my own communication skills and work style. Our team’s DiSC Day was very well organised and facilitated and the venue for a group of our size was perfect. Whilst the topic could have been repetitive to similar topics the facilitator only referred to slides occasionally and put a very good slant on what can be a dry or generic subject.

I thoroughly enjoyed our team’s DiSC Day. I found it useful to understand myself and my traits and those of my colleagues. How they manifest and affect the thoughts and emotions of each other. It was also a great way to get to know each other too and strengthen the team.

Brilliant welcome from the team – energy and enthusiasm was high throughout and encouraged everyone to engage more. It was great to have ‘real life’ experience from Chris (Tadweld).

Found the course to involve good content with many interactive sections which helped to think about the topics in the course. Joanne was very good at leading the course and keeping everyone engaged.

The Remarkable Leadership Programme had a great impact on me was I was able to build my own personal ‘authentic voice’ and ‘style’. This programme brought me closer to my team by implementing outcomes of the course, allowing me to have honest and open conversations with my colleagues and develop my own comfort and confidence within my current role. Having a refresher on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) is always beneficial. Lee took our course at work in a relaxed and informal environment where we were all encouraged to be ourselves. Understanding things from others points of view is always helpful. We are all so diverse. It’s great to spend time with colleagues too as we are so busy this doesn’t happen often. Thank you Lee for facilitating and opening our minds a little more.

We wanted to ensure we retained the current staff that we had. On a personal level, it showed me and the other Directors some of the changes we needed to make, to ensure our staff remain happy and carry on wanting to work for us. It seems to have had a hugely positive impact on the staff after the changes we implemented, some financial, some working practices. Great experience, really helpful and always available if need help. Most valuable point was to have an independent company so staff could be honest.
