DriveSpeed Group provide tailored vehicle solutions to clients across a range of industries from a base in North Yorkshire. The business has grown significantly since its incorporation in 2011, and has doubled in size in the last three years, with over 20 staff at their office on Fishergate in York.
In 2020 the dental industry was shut down for a couple of months, but Swallow Dental Supplies adapted its PPE product range and are now growing rapidly through their sales of bone regeneration material and other surgical dental supplies.
I couldn’t recommend the Management Development Programme enough! It was an incredibly inspiring and transformative journey for me as a leader. I was quite nervous at the start of the Leading Others course but Lee’s style of teaching put me at ease. He made me feel like any contributions I made were worthwhile and valid. I like the way we were encouraged to discuss issues, particularly in the ALGs (Action Learning Groups). Lee always gives feedback which helps, and asks questions that make you think. Thoroughly enjoyed the course.
The Confidence and Assertiveness workshop with facilitator Will was a great event overall. It was engaging throughout and we were not just talked at! It was good that groups differed per activity to help with confidence of speaking to other people in the session.
I thoroughly enjoyed the First Line Manager Leadership Programme. I liked the mix of different training techniques especially the exercises undertaken. Lee was so welcoming and friendly and continually encouraged participation from everyone. I am sad that the course has ended but have lots of new techniques to apply in my career development as a leader.
The How to Create and Embed a High Performing Culture session with Michelle was just fab! A brilliant reminder of what a high performing team needs. Fantastic facilitation of discussion and great insight and experience to help up identify action.
Joanne was the facilitator of the Honest Conversation workshop and she gave a really clear and actionable presentation. An interactive session that had us up and moving – putting the steps and process into action. The examples and brick building was helpful.
I thought the Customer service course was very good. There was a good mix of written work, group work, videos and interactive work/games which made it enjoyable and engaging.
The Art of Delegation session that was run by Joanne was extremely engaging and informative. Joanne is a fantastic instructor and made sure the sessions were engaging and fun!
I attended the Communicating with Impact and Confidence course which was facilitated by Will. It was a very, very thought provoking. Really active and engaging. The activities were very relatable and helped the theory to sink in. I will take a lot away from this course.
I attended the Attention Management course that was facilitated by Joanne. An Excellent and engaging course! Provided some great techniques for improving my productivity. Tackled some challenging topics and provided great content for issues we all face at work
